In our early years of business we renovated many historical homes in a number of older Chicago suburbs. We worked on Frank Lloyd Wright, Zook and other notable homes during that time. That experience provided a good architectural grounding for our work and has influenced many of our homes today. We have won a number of awards and have received local and national recognition for some of our period influenced homes and renovations.
How do you differentiate yourself from other builders?
We design most of our homes and stay true to form with every detail, maintaining the architectural integrity of those designs. Whether it is an exterior finish, custom, windows, doors or trim, every part makes up the whole.
We provide service to our clients long after the sale.
We keep in touch with our clients well after the contractual warranty ends.
We have helped homeowners who are the second and third buyers of our homes with any questions and/or service needs they have and if we do not perform the work ourselves we offer referrals to qualified tradesman.
This has gone a long way in maintaining our customers for life philosophy.
What are some of the reasons you use Midwest as a supplier (i.e. product quality, one on one service, product knowledge, etc.)
All of the above. There have been times over the years when we have used other suppliers but none has had the combination of product offerings and sales support that we have experienced with Midwest Window & Supply.

Their knowledgeable sales and support staff, as well as their delivery team, has made our projects a lot easier than what we have experienced with other companies.

Yes.
We have built a reputation for attention to detail in our homes and Midwest Window & Supply as well as their affiliate, Trim Works, has helped us to achieve this. With their company having knowledgeable sales people we spend less time looking for products that we need to complete our designs. Having a talented team of carpenters from Trim Works complete the installation of the millwork makes the end product even better yet.
Has Midwest’s ability to build custom bars, built-ins, fireplace mantles, etc. helped you in the building process?
Definitely.
Many millwork supply companies do not have the luxury of a full production shop to build and fabricate custom trim, doors and built-ins, like Midwest Window & Supply does. Their one stop shop really helps to simplify the whole process from purchase through production and installation.
Is there anything else you would like to add about your salesman or the company in general?
One of the principal reasons why we brought our business to Midwest Window & Supply was their salesman. Our business has followed with him from two prior millwork supply companies. His knowledge and dependability along with the quality products, service and talented team of craftsmen from Trim Works, has kept our business with Midwest Window & Supply to this day.
