How long have you been in the construction industry?

15 Years.

What segment of the construction industry are you involved in (i.e. home building, remodeling, commercial, etc.)

Mainly design and build of single family luxury homes, but also manage home additions and remodels.

What is your niche or target market?

Luxury homes.

How do you differentiate yourself from other builders?

I am a very hands on builder. I start with designing the home with my clients, instead of sending them off to an architect. This allows me to keep the design of their home, within the parameters of space and budget for my clients. I have found that when clients work independently with an architect on their home, the whole home package tends to come in way over their budget and cuts have to be made. That tends to disappoint the client in that they are no longer getting the exact home they designed.

I work my clients on all of their selections, from the initial designs of the home all the way through to the moving in and staging of the furniture in the home. The homes we design are designed for a specific family, and how that family lives. My clients get me all the way through the project, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

What are some of the reasons you use Midwest as a supplier (i.e. product quality, one on one service, product knowledge, etc.)

Ed Eichele!!! My salesman is the best and is always ready to contribute to new design ideas. He never has said “No”, and that is something that is truly valuable as a home builder. The product quality is top notch.

How does the service and quality from Midwest Window & Supply compare to the competition?

I selected Midwest and stay with Midwest because I can always get the service I need. While we try to plan ahead as best as possible, there are times when we need a “rush”, and our salesman is on the run.

Has Midwest Window assisted you in the growth and improvement of your business? Please explain.

Absolutely. I consider Midwest part of the Vintage Team. All team players have to work together to build and maintain a strong business.

Has Midwest’s ability to build custom bars, built-ins, fireplace mantles, etc. helped you in the building process?

Yes. In the larger homes I build, there are several custom components to be designed and built. Midwest having the ability to assist with those custom pieces, as designed by Vintage and my clients, is helpful in that we do no have to search for someone else to handle the task. With Midwest being the supplier of the materials, and providing the labor to build the components, it’s a seamless operation.

Is there anything else you would like to add about your salesman or the company in general?

Our salesman Ed, is very attentive and frequently “checks in” to see if I need anything. While I may not need him at that moment, it is great to know that he’s on the job.
